Christina Petrou received her Doctor of Optometry in 1990 from the Illinois College of Optometry and undertook dual residencies at Chicago’s West Side Jesse Brown Veterans Affairs Medical Center in hospital-based optometry and ophthalmologic comanagement of glaucoma, ocular disease, inflammation, trauma, retinopathy, laser surgery, and cataracts; and at Hines Veterans Affairs Medical Blind Center in low vision rehabilitative optometry.
