    How ODs celebrate Valentine’s Day

    Leslie O’Dell, OD, FAAO

    In the office:

No decorations in sight, but chocolate is a must. I plan to bring some of my favorites for everyone to share: dark chocolate and anything salted caramel!

    At home:

This is the fun part because my children Anna (8) and William (5) love to celebrate this Hallmark holiday.

I made valentine mailboxes from two cereal boxes wrapped in paper and decorated, then tied them to the backs of their dinner chairs. They love creating cards for each other and our family during the week, and we will open them all at dinner, which is usually something heart shaped.

I, too, am a sucker for Valentine's Day!!
